Croatian President Kolinda Grabar-Kitarovic will announce the date of the parliamentary election early next week, the spokesman for the president said on Monday.
After talks with leaders of political parties in Croatia as early as the beginning of next week, the president will announce the date of the parliamentary election, spokesman Luka Djuric said.
The decision to dissolve the Croatian parliament entered into force on Monday and the elections need to be held 60 days from the dissolution at the latest, which means by the end of November.
Elections are held on Sundays and the president will decided which Sunday.
Grabar-Kitarovic is currently attending the session of the United Nations General Assembly in New York.
