HDZ chief to travel to Munich and talk to IFO experts

The president of the Croatian Democratic Union (HDZ), Tomislav Karamarko, will travel to Munich on Saturday and hold talks with leaders and economy experts of the IFO institute for economic studies, senior HDZ sources told Hina on Friday.

Karamarko is expected to thank them for the cooperation so far and brief them about the reaction of Croatia’s experts to the HDZ economic platform, the same sources said.

IFO experts and the chief of the Munich-based institute, Hans Werner Sinn, have helped the HDZ and its Patriotic Coalition to draw up its economic platform called “Economic growth, sustainable development and employment — 5+ Croatia”, which Karamarko presented to the public on 1 October.

Karamarko is also expected to meet representatives of Croat associations active in Bavaria.
