Croatian Democratic Union (HDZ) president Tomislav Karamarko said on Monday he was very happy with November 8 as the date of the parliamentary election, calling on the opponents to present their election platforms and teams so as to see who was offering what.
“I have to admit I am very happy with the date November 8. I am also happy with any other date before that, so that we get rid of this agony. The country is in agony. Croatia is in agony, the economy is collapsing, people are emigrating, there are less and less jobs, now we have a migrant crisis and we must say enough is enough,” Karamarko told the media outside the HDZ headquarters.
He once again called for the presentation of election platforms and teams, adding that it was not yet known which platform the Social Democratic Party was running with at the election. (Hina)
