The number of refugees entering Croatia continues to decline, with 952 entering over the past 24 hours, though the police would not speculate on the reason.

“It’s very difficult to speculate if the reason is the weather or something else. In accordance with the influx from Serbia, migrants are transported to Slovenia after registration,” Brod-Posavina County police spokeswoman Kata Nujic told reporters at the Slavonski Brod refugee transit centre on Friday.

Since September 16, when refugees on the Greece-Germany route first reached Croatia, a total of 446,758 have passed through the country, of whom more than 130,000 passed through the Slavonski Brod centre, and there have been no incidents.
