Deichmann, DHL, Infinum named best employers in Croatia

The Deichmann, DHL and Infinum companies have won the title of best employers in Croatia in 2015, awarded by the MojPosao employment agency.

A total of 34 privately, domestic and foreign-owned companies from all economic sectors participated in a survey preceding the award of the title. The survey covered more than 3,000 employees who gave their comments on 78 assertions in nine categories such as the challenge level of assignments, employee loyalty, work organisation, work conditions, interpersonal relations etc.

Based on employee comments, the footwear chain of shops Deichmann was named the best big employer, followed by the dm-drogerie markt chain of shops that sell cosmetics, healthcare and household products, and the Jadranka d.d. hotel company.

The shipping company DHL International was named the best employer in the category of medium-sized employers, followed by the Rimac Automobili car maker and the Degordian advertising agency.

The Infinum software design and development company was named the best employer in the category of small companies, followed by Mireo, a company producing global automotive navigation systems for smartphones, personal navigation devices and in-car infotainment systems, and the software development company Acceleratio.

Independent of the company size, the category “dedication to work” was rated the best while the category “work organisation” was given the poorest rate.

The best three big employers stand out from other big companies in terms of employee loyalty. The surveyed companies in that category differ the least from one another in terms of involvement in decision-making processes.

The top three employers in the category of medium-sized companies stand out from other medium-sized companies in terms of involvement in decision-making processes, while mutual differences are the smallest in the category “dedication to work”.

The best three small employers stand out from other small employers in terms of satisfaction with work organisation. The least differences between small employers were reported in the category “dedication to work”.
