European Commissioner Dombrovskis to visit Croatia on Feb 25-26

European Euro and Social Dialogue Commissioner Valdis Dombrovskis will pay a working visit to Croatia on February 25-26 as part of the European Semester and meet with the highest state officials, the European Commission Representation to Croatia announced on Tuesday.

Dombrovskis will meet with President Kolinda Grabar-Kitarovic, Prime Minister Tihomor Oreskovic and Parliament Speaker Zeljko Reiner. At a joint meeting, he will talk with Finance Minister Zdravko Maric, Economy Minister Tomislav Panenic, Regional Development and European Funds Minister Tomislav Tolusic, and Labour and Pension System Minister Nada Sikic.

Dombrovskis will also meet with representatives of unions and the Croatian Employers Association and is scheduled to hold a lunch meeting with Croatian National Bank governor Boris Vujcic.

During the European Semester, European Union member states coordinate economic and fiscal policies.
