Pope Francis received in Vatican on Wednesday the audience of BiH Presidency Chairman Dragan Čović, together with representatives of the state and church organizing committee for the Papal Pastoral Visit to Sarajevo 6. June 2015, said the Holy See's press office.

The delegation was also the Archbishop of Vrhbosna, Cardinal Vinko Puljić, President of the Bishop's Conference of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Pope Francis addressed the congregation to all peoples and communities in BiH, calling on them to unite and work together and establish a dialogue.
"Please greet my people, the whole people, to greet two other members of the Presidency, to greet communities of other religions, but to unite and talk and dialogue for the good of the earth. It is a service for the good of your homeland, "said Pope Francis.
In a statement to the media, a Croatian member of the BiH Presidency said he thanked in support of Pope Francis, adding that his words were encouraging for progress in BiH. The delegation of Croats from BiH and the Catholic Church to Pope Francis presented the monograph on his pastoral visit to Sarajevo 6. June this year.

After meeting with the Pope, Čović also met with Cardinal Pietro Parolin, State Secretary of the Holy See. According to a statement from the Presidency of BiH, Chairwoman Čović informed Secretary of State Parolina about the activities and progress of Bosnia and Herzegovina on her way to the European Union, expressing her gratitude for the permanent support of the Pope and the Vatican to Bosnia and Herzegovina.
