Mother, at least eight babies, whose bodies were found in a house in a small German town in Bavaria, admitted to having killed them, police spokeswoman said on Saturday.
The mother said some of them were born alive and killed after childbirth.
The police found at least eight babies wrapped in towels and plastic bags at home in Wallenfels, a half-way town between Muenchen and Berlin.
The police began questioning a woman who now lives in the nearby town of Kronach on Friday night. According to media reports, she moved a few weeks ago after she broke up with her partner.
The fifty-year-old man was also taken to the examination, but later released without an indictment.
Autopsy should show when babies are killed and its results are expected at the beginning of the next week. (Hina)
