French police searched over the 118 houses and apartments during the night as part of intensified efforts to combat terrorism, French Interior Minister Benard Cazeneuve said in a statement.

It is the third night in a row in which such searches are carried out as part of an extraordinary state declared after last week's Paris attacks. Cazeneuve discovered that 25 people were arrested and seized 34 pieces of weapons.

Over the last three nights, a total of 414 searches were conducted, 60 people were arrested, and 75 confiscated weapons were fired. During the operation, certain quantities of drugs were seized. (Hina)
