At the police station in Zavidovici town in central Bosnia, an explosive device was thrown Monday and Tuesday between Monday and Tuesday, and it is suspected that it is a new terrorist attack, confirmed on Tuesday morning from police sources.
From the Ministry of Interior of Zenica-Doboj County under whose jurisdiction Zavidovići also belonged, they confirmed that the investigation of the whole case was taken over by the Prosecutor's Office of BiH, which has exclusive powers over the criminal offenses of terrorism.
"There are indications that in this case there are elements of a terrorist offense, and the proceeding in this case was taken over by the BiH Prosecutor's Office, which will conduct a further investigation and by which a joint team of the State Investigation and Protection Agency (SIPA), the Federal Police Administration and the Ministry of Interior of the Zenica-Doboj County, which will work on collecting operational information and identifying and locating perpetrators, "the County MUP said in a statement.
According to available information sometime after midnight there was an explosion on the roof of the auxiliary building located next to the central part of the police station.
The office for issuing personal documents is located in this building.
Injured to the explosion, there was no material damage to which its size was determined.
Last week, a terrorist attack was committed in Sarajevo where radical Islamist Enes Omeragic killed two members of the armed forces of BiH.
