Two days ago, urgent and unpopular works were carried out on the reconstruction of the A4 highway service roadway, Saint Helena traffic junction for the state road D10 - for the direction of Vrbovec - Bjelovar and for the direction of Sveti Ivan Zelina and will last up to 28. June 2016.

In order to carry out the works, a temporary regulation of traffic will be established in two phases:

Phase I of 20.6. - 22.6.2016. which foresees a complete ban on motor vehicles and turning on the Saint Helena motorway from the A4 motorway from the South towards Saint Helena and further to St. John Zelina.

Phase II. of 22.6. - 28.6.2016. which foresees a complete ban on motor vehicles and turning on the Saint Helena motorway from the A4 motorway from the south and towards Vrbovec and towards Saint Helena.

all traffic in the opposite direction of the state road D10 from the direction of Vrbovec, ie St. John Zelina, and the inclusion on the A4 highway towards the south in both phases will be without restriction.

The HAC-ONC company has set up and will establish a temporary traffic regulation by which all freight traffic (above 5t NDM) for the direction of Vrbovec-Bjelovar is already diverted to the node Kraljevečki Novaki - Sesvetski Kraljevec - Dugo Selo - Vrbovec. Other traffic of the motorways to the direction of Sveti Ivan Zelina and Vrbovec is diverted to the node Popovec and further towards Soblinac - Blaževdol - Sv. Ivan Zelina or to Holy Helen.

In connection with this, in the aftermath of peak loads, congestion is expected in the following locations:
on the A4 highway in the commune of Kraljevečki Novaki and on the Selska road in the east direction towards Sesvetski Kraljevac and Dugo Selo,

from the Varaždin road from the direction of Popovac to the state road D3 in the direction of the north towards Soblinac and Sveti Ivan Zelina.

Bearing in mind that, in order to increase the safety and flow of road traffic on these roads, the police will carry out physical traffic management at the most critical crossroads.

We ask all traffic participants to understand and respect the traffic signs and instructions of HAC-ONC employees and police officers
