When the little hands are in place, everything can be done. We heard these verses in the popular "Snow Train" childrens film, but there is a lot of truth in them that the students of Gornje Vrapče Primary School demonstrate. They have prepared, with the help of their sacrifice mentors, the true festive music-scene delicacies - the dance fairy tale "Orašar".
The Orašar Premiere in the performance of fourth, fifth, sixth and seventh grade students of the Gornje Vrapče Elementary School can be seen tomorrow (Tuesday, December 13) at 19 hours at the Susedgrad Cultural Center, for symbolic 20 kings. One of their mentors, a class teacher Andrea Škribulja Horvat, says it's about a real-time show where even 67 students participate. For the needs of the play, the real puppet of Orašar was made, while the preparation lasted for three months.
Apart from the mentioned ladies, the little ones from Gornji Vrapč, they also prepared a teacher of music culture Hana Paver, a teacher of visual arts Tanja Cvetko and a teacher of Croatian language Anita Silić Puklin.
At the idea of their own performance of Orašar, students and their mentors came after having watched the same show in the Zagreb National Theater and were delighted with it.
