The traditional Christmas concert of the HRT in the Sfumato cycle will take place on Tuesday, 20. December 2016. in 20 classes at the Mimara Museum. The Christmas Concert of the Croatian Chamber of Trustees this time contradicts the occasional works of Anglo-Saxon composers of the Croatian tradition in the new era.

Morten Lauridsen and Eric Whitacre are American composers whose works and sound carriers have been nominated for and Grammy Awards: Lauridsen's About Magnum Mysterium was nominated for this award and Whitacre's Lux aurumque won it 2012, more precisely the "Light & Gold" album featuring this piece of music. Benjamin Britten's "A Boy Was Born" cycle was written by 1933, embodying various texts related to the Christmas holiday in the form of variation themes, and the new work by Ivan Josip Skender, the cycle of kajkavian Christmas songs scattered in new vocal-instrumental gowns, will revive premiere at the concert under the direction of the author.

After the performance in the Sfumato cycle at the Mimara Museum, the HRT Choir and Master Ivan Josip Skender will present the same program on a concert that Croatian Radio Television has traditionally organized in one of the most valuable sacral ambiences, bringing to the public the lesser known wealth and beauty of our historical sacral architecture with superb music. After Trg Vrh, Lepoglava, Slavonski Brod, Virovitica, Osijek, Prelog and Belc this year the choice fell to the parish church of the Blessed Virgin Mary of the Queen of St. Crowns in Remetinac near New Marof, whose construction began in the second half of 15. century.
