The candidate for Zagreb mayor, HNS Anka Mrak Taritaš, opened the premises of his local elections, but also the seats, as he said, to which all the Zagreb-based changes are welcome. The office space is located in Vlaska 65 and there will Mrak Taritaš continue the practice of receiving the citizen he has been spending for a year and a half.
- Today we officially open the premises of the local election campaign, primarily as a gathering space for all citizens who want change, who want the City of Zagreb well. This campaign I started campaigning for all of our citizens. The platform I offer is superstitious and my goal is to bring together all layers of citizens; associations of civil society, trade unions, entrepreneurs and tradesmen, scientific community, artists and others. In this space, everyone is welcome, as well as those who want to give support, as well as anyone who wants to make a good criticism or constructive suggestion. All the citizens who have a problem are also welcome, seeking advice. As you know, I receive citizens a year and a half every Monday, and I continue to think about this practice, but from now on in this area - she said Anka Mrak Taritaš.
Anke Mrak Taritaš will also join the new site
The HNS candidate also presented a new campaign website. Along with information on the activities of Anke Mrak Taritaš, she also has information on financing her campaign. She emphasizes that her goal is greater transparency. It plans to achieve this through access to all donation information, while its donors are said to be citizens, not various interest groups.
- I often point to the problem of the transparency of the city budget, but I also believe that every candidate for the mayor's office must move first. I want to show transparency on my example, precisely through the transparency of funding the campaign itself. I have decided for this kind of financing of the campaign because, as I have already said, this campaign must be for citizens and with the help of citizens. The current funding of candidates through interest groups shows that the future mayor or mayor becomes a "borrower", and his decision-making freedom decreases. As I advocate for the transparent financing of city projects, I think that as a candidate for the mayor of the City of Zagreb, I have to show with her example the transparent financing of her own campaign - emphasized HNS candidate for the mayor.
Additionally, the new website also includes volunteer applications, so for all citizens who want to help the Anke Mrak Taritaš campaign.
