Dramatic Triptych "The Wolves" Mate Matišić consists of three independent and stylically distinct parts, whose main link is Viktor, a drama writer and screenwriter, former rock guitarist and pop star rocker of the former state, pandan Mati Matišić, drama writer and screenwriter, former guitarists and stars of the Yugoslav band First Love.
In the first part, under the title of Adorable, Viktor is unexpectedly facing his distant past, revealing that he forgets more than memories with his forgotten fan from his rock days, compromising his current civic life today.
In the second part entitled The First Muslim in the Village, Viktor returns to his native village of Ričica in Dalmatian Zagora where the fate of a disillusioned former defender is inspired by the drama.

In the final section under the title Underneath the wig, Viktor and his wife agree to take care of a baby whose mother is dying of cancer, but that decision will unexpectedly expel the suppressed conflicts that Viktor carries within.

Using autobiographical data from his own life, Mate Matišić is playing the fiction and reality relationship and our highly-media-programmed need to read sensationalist texts in text, and often in life.
At the invitation of the Croatian National Theater in Zagreb, Mate Matišić wrote a drama that marks the first such collaboration between this uncompromising writer and the central Croatian national house.
