The Zagreb European Cinema will host this year's KinoKino Festival, an international film festival for children, which was launched successfully in the orbit of the domestic festival scene last March. The second edition of the KinoKino Festival, a festival that offers kids a special and different experience of going to the cinema, will last one day longer and will be extended almost weekly: from Tuesday, 21. February to Sunday, 26. February 2017.
The carefully designed KinoKino Festival program is aimed primarily at children's audiences, but in a number of international and domestic feature films for children's recent productions, as well as in several selected movie classics, they will also enjoy the older ones. Along with the film program, children also expect a handful of diverse workshops and educational content to give the youngest as much as possible the specifics of the "seventh" art of creation.
The festival program is of a competitive nature, and the best achievements will be decided by a professional and children's jury. An application for participation in a children's jury is in progress, and interested primary school students aged from 11 to 15 years can apply to 11. January. All information on the application process is available on the official website of the Festival.
The organizer of the KinoKino Festival is the Artistic Organization Zagreb Film Festival.
