From the fairy-tale opera at the opening, to the concert in the closing tunnel, the Music Biennale Zagreb is proudly presenting its 29 program. releases that will offer audiences more than thirty concerts and music-events in the week. From the morning and afternoon programs for children and young people, evening prime concerts and late-night performances that will be attended by some of the most entertaining festival moments, the Zagreb Music Biennale aims to include the broad concept of contemporary music with the program concept.
Poland as partner country 29. Music Biennale Zagreb
During the Festival and its numerous events, the Zagreb Music Biennale has achieved a full range of partners - institutions and companies that help in realization. One of the most important partners of the project is the Embassy of the Republic of Poland in Zagreb. Namely, 29. The Zagreb Music Biennale opens with the premiere of the opera Klothò of Polish composers Martyne Kosecke. Besides music, the director is also signed by a Polish artist - director Krzysztof Cichenski, costume designer and set designer Julija Kosek, and Bartłomiej Szlachcic is a video designer. This Polish technical team will be credited for this great Polish-Croatian event at the 22 Comedy Theater. April, and since the opera will be performed by the ensemble of HNK Ivana pl. Zajc in Rijeka, the opera will remain in their repertoire. Such partnerships between institutions and foreign embassies are key to project sustainability and greater community support.
