Gault & Millau Croatia 2018

Croatia will be from 6. April to join the 28 list of countries for which the international gastronomic guide is Gault & Millau prepared a national guide where 100 restaurants, 100 wines and 50 POPs will be located, with high quality food and a special experience.

Looking for restaurants that deserve one to five culinary caps which represent ratings, inspectors Gault & Millau spent an anonymously 7 months escorting Croatia to Croatia in order to build on Gault & Millau's nearly 60 years of appreciation methodology that is the same in all countries where there is a guide, choosing those who deserve a place on the gourmet map of Our Beautiful - she pointed out Ingrid Badurina Danielsson, director of Gault & Millau Croatia. The unique rating methodology enables chefs to objectively compare their quality to domestic and foreign colleagues.

Gault & Millau rates restaurants of all price categories, primarily based on the quality of food and preparation of meals, but apart from rewarding culinary excellence, the Croatian edition of the guide further emphasizes communication to guests with special emphasis on the possibilities different payment methods. That's why MasterCard, as a partner of Gault & Millau, initiated two projects: a new category and awards were introduced Payment Excellence Awards with the aim of encouraging the introduction of electronic payments into catering facilities in Croatia and part of the restaurants and POPs in the guide will offer guests special benefits for paying Mastercard® the Maestro® by the end of the year.

The relevant and objective national gastronomic guide also has its electronic version in form mobile apps which is already available for download (iOS i Android platforms). The app uses GPS and finds restaurants, wine bars, and POPs nearby, and besides the rating contains a detailed description of the locals in all the countries that Gault & Millau covers for their national editions.

In addition to running the guide, the day before the police go out, 5. April at the Westin Hotel will be awarded prizes for the best achievements in the world of culinary arts for: Big Chef Tomorrow 2018, Chef's Traditional Cuisine 2018, Young talent 2018 powered by Metro Cash & Carry, Best POP 2018 powered by Debic, you Payment Excellence Award restaurant i Payment Excellence Award POP powered by Mastercard.

The price of the Gault & Millau Croatia 2018 guide will be 90 kn, and will be sold by 6. April at selected INA petrol stations.
