The Russians, like the Poles, chose between women, but the battle was not so uncertain. Galina Kovačević and her deputy Anna Mišar won twice as many votes as their competitors: Svetlane Marinov and her deputies Irine Miron Blažine. Kovačević and Mišar got 72 voice, and Marinov and Blažina 35 votes.
